Relationships

The Skyrim developers have recently said that you will be able to have relationships with characters in the game, be it love or hate. I hope this idea broadens into companions, like on Fallout: New Vegas, and people helping you with one off tasks or maybe paying somebody to do a task for you. I imagine if you have a bad relationship with someone that they will ignore, this could possibly prevent you from completing quests.

I think me and you have a healthy relationship Johnny.

Magika

I felt the magic was a little underwhelming on Oblivion as that ment sacrafising a good 'ol head chopping sword for a staff but with the dual-wielding option this is no longer a problem. Being albe to have a sword and a staff will give you the option of long range and close range attacks at the same time. This has got me wetter than an elf with a bow up its arse.

Companions

I may have said before, but I really, really, really hope we can get companions in Skyrim, hopefully a mix of humans and the other races and animals, maybe a bear or wolf would be suitable.

Johnny, when I came home last night, you were drunk again, I really think it's time you cut down.

Priest/Holy men/Preachers in Skyrim

In  Oblivion we had a preacher scaring the dearda's testicles out of the people with speak of the apocalypse. This lead to you finding the knights of the nine an have a whole new, and large, side quest to do. I enjoyed this task because it had a better plot towards finding the task rather than talking to someone and they just tell you the task. I hope they make a return to tell you news in Skyrim, even if it is translated into an apocalypse themed speech it would be fun to work out the reality of the task. I think if they also introduced preachers how they were in Assassins Creed aswell, as in they control a lot of the news and take brides not to spread the new of your crimes. This would be helpful if you were to join a murder or thieves guild as it would eliminate the guards suspicion of you.

Oh crap it's a Johnnyova's Witness

Accessories

In Oblivion accessories were limited to rings and amulets. I would hope to see a return from these but in more forms. For instance jewellery such as ear rings could improve speech craft because of the comments you could receive about them could be compliments and you could compliment in return. This would give the game a longer playing time as it would take time away from the main quest and side quests.

What accessories do you want Johnny?

Murder Guilds

I feel that guilds were the best part of Oblivion. They manage to keep you entertained through out the whole of the quests with out it becoming boring, like some longer tasks can be. For me the Dark Brotherhood was the greatest of the guilds. Being able to murder without the guards rubbing your nipple, getting enchanted weapons after each quest and the obvious: being an unstoppable murdering machine, and getting paid for it. The main to point to this post is that the 'murder' guilds on each Elder Scrolls have never been the same in each game. So what will the new guild be called and what new additions will be maid to the guild. Will the guild move out from one secret base so that you have to notice the other members by a certain clothing or weapon? Will you work in groups in some missions? One helps the other kills? With the main quest being about a civil war, will you be called on to eliminate certain political leaders by each sides? Will the guild be harder to get into? Killing one person wasn't exactly hard, now was it?

Or maybe there isn't a murder guild.
What do you think about no murder guilds Johnny?

Will Skyrim ever end?

In Oblivion the final chapter was to go into paradise, and the game basically came to an end. I wonder if this is to be on Skyrim. Will the civil war it would seem there would be no way for the game to end, as side quests would still be available, but with the dragons into the picture a whole new situation is put forth. Dragons bring the 'magic' side to Skyrim, just as the the oblivion gates were to the death of the Emperor. Will the dragons bring an end to Skyrim? Will you become 'one of' the dragons and be feared by the public? Will you take over Skyrim after the kings death, leaving all side quests eliminated? Or will there be no 'real end' to the whole of Skyrim.

Do you know Johnny?

I guess we caught at him at the wrong time.

Addition 2#: Sprint

Although this is only a small addition to the game this has made me all the happier. Jumping up and down to go faster on Oblivion was a pain and I failed to see why a sprint button wasn't put onto that game. This addition will help in many ways: following people for a quest, getting to places a lot faster, hunting and, I hope this happens, being chased by a mother fuckin' dragon. All in all this is just a simple, but needed, update that will make Skyrim just that little bit more awesome.

What do you think Johhny?

Addition 1#: Bows

A new feature to the blog that will talk about a new addition/feature to the game and what it will en-tale for the game as a whole.

I know Oblivion had bows but the developers of Skyrim have said that they have improved the power of the bows and have added a small amount of magnetism so that it will be easier to fight in larger battles.

First off the prospect of larger battles is making my body numb and my penis erect. Bows were, sorry to say, lack luster on Oblivion as a sword, axe etc. would always be easier to kill somebody with, even with a high archery skill. The added bow power will hopefully, along with the dual staff and blade/blunt, make people want to increase not only one attack skill, e.g. blade, but want to become an 'ultimate' player in all realms. The addition of the magnetism will be a great factor for the game not only in the quests but in free roam as hunting could be a new addition to pass time in the game, and deer were virtually impossible to kill.

All in all I give this new feature a thumbs up. What do you think Johnny?
